We are monitoring state and county COVID-19 trends and guidance. We recognize the state is asking counties to stay in Phase III. At this time, we are not clear on guidance from the county, but we believe we can accommodate the Phase III guidance by arranging our space to make physical distancing possible and we are also highly encouraging masking by all attendees.

We encourage High Risk individuals to make the best decision for their own health and support you continuing to worship from home at your own discretion.

Open Seating

Both the balcony and the Cry Room will be open during the gatherings.

Closed Facilities

The Cunningham Family Life Center entries and exits will be closed, as well as the King Hallway, Prayer Rooms, Nurseries, and all other on site activities.

Valet unavailable at this time

We are unable to offer Sunday morning valet services at this time.

If you need assistance

The Safety Team and Welcome Team volunteers (who are wearing blue vests) will be available to direct those are not feeling well to two designated “health rooms”. They will also have portable hand sanitizer misters for your convenience.

Social Distancing

We ask that each be mindful of maintaining 6’ Social Distancing between others.  If you’d like to talk with friends, we ask that hold those conversations outside the building.

Masks
Masks/face coverings are now expected in accordance with the Kansas governor’s July 3, 2020 Executive Order. We strongly encourage those who are gathering with us in person to bring their own masks. Volunteers and staff will have fabric masks available for those who need them. Masks have been donated by @MasksOfMercy.
Volunteers

All volunteers will have their temperatures taken, to ensure the safety of those worshipping with us as you interact with us on Sunday.

Seating

When you arrive in the sanctuary, please don’t move the ropes. We would encourage families to sit together, seating one family on each end, then having a family seated in the center of the next open pew. We will also be utilizing every other pew to ensure space between other worshippers.

In Gathering Elements

We will not be “Passing the Peace”, passing offering plates, or guest books this week. We will encourage those would like to give, to do so using the worship boxes in the back of the sanctuary or with a volunteer in the lobby on your way out of the worship gathering.

Staggered Dismissal

We will be dismissing by sections, as instructed from the platform and from our Welcome Team. We will ask everyone to exit the sanctuary in order to provide our cleaning time enough time to prepare the room for the next gathering.
