I started attending church with my grandparents, and started to learn more about God. I doubted that God really loved me, and didn't know if I could trust Him. At youth retreat, I learned that God was someone I could really trust even when life is hard. I want to be baptized today to show others that I have God in my life, and that it is not scary to trust Him.Abby
These past two years of middle school have been hard for me, but last week at youth retreat I felt God reminding me that He wants to pull me out of darkness and into His light.Maddie
I am here today because the Lord has placed many glowing personalities before me, and now I shall follow. Today I am honoring my promise to let the world know that I have committed to spend the rest of my life loving and serving God.Li
I've struggled with the darkness of sexual abuse for many years, and it isn't something that I want to be held captive by. I want to be free of it; all His, all the time.Allie
I'm 41 years old and have never been baptized. I grew up in the church... it's been a tough week for my family. My father had some health news this week, and its been rough. I felt God nudging me just five minutes ago to be baptized because my father was baptized, and set that example for me... and as a father, I know that I need to set that example for my kids.Jeremy
I'm the former-pastor's wife, professor at MidAmerica, and former-board member that has never been baptized. My kids were all baptized here, and I love the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind, body and strength. I love this church more than just about anything, and love the Lord and all He is doing. I want to testify to that!Lisa
I grew up in a church that just didn't do baptisms... I've never had an opportunity to profess my faith in this way, so I'm excited to take part in it!Wally
