Why Have a Bus Ministry??
Perhaps the greatest reason is the potential for evangelistic outreach, seeing a child, teen or adult come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.

Bus ministry is a concrete means of showing and demonstrating our spiritual concern for the community.

Perhaps the most rewarding reason for a bus ministry is to reach the children of unconcerned parents. There are many parents that are not concerned with living the Christian life but would like their children to know about Jesus. Our task is to find these children and then encourage the total family to worship with us, and more importantly to come to know Christ personally.

It also reaches senior adults and others who desire to come, but do not have their own transportation.

Lastly it provides a service for those around us that otherwise may not have the opportunity to attend a church.

Senior adult-only buses (handicap & wheelchair accessible) are available for all services.

Buses run for all services on Sunday morning (hot breakfast is served on the buses on Sunday morning), Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening, including revivals and Vacation Bible School. We also run the buses for revival and Vacation Bible School. Please call 764-4498 ext. 224, or email johno@collegechurch.com to schedule a ride.

What is the J-Train?

The J-Train is an Outreach Ministry of College Church of the Nazarene Bus Ministry that is not just Bringing Them In, but Bringing Jesus to Them.

We are taking the Church to the neighborhoods, sharing Christ with children, youth, and parents, being Jesus with skin on. Many children and youth and especially parents from unchurhced homes will not bother to come to church on a Sunday morning. But we can go to them by way of a Church on Wheels.

How will we do this?...

We will take our big 20 foot truck to area apartment complexes and present the Gospel through lively music, games, skits, puppets, prizes, food, and just hangin’ out. We will go out on Saturdays to two different apartment complexes in the Olathe area each week, with a team comprised of volunteers from College Church and students from MNU or NTS. This is a pilot program with the vision of doing this year-round starting in the fall.

How can you help?
We need many volunteers, both on stage and behind the scenes.
